The Routes Quartet - which plays live Inverness dates this week - is a collaborative effort, says viola player Emma Tomlinson. "I think it’s what makes the music so special... Everything comes from us!"

IT’S CHRIST-MAAAAAAS! (Well, nearly …!)

There’s no way to pretend Christmas isn’t just around the corner now. Lovely to be the grateful guest of family and friends when it’s panto time!

Not seen SNOW WHITE at Eden Court yet? Well, make time, as it’s a vintage portion of fun, craziness and cheesiness – and enough jokes to keep you wincing well into the new year – “those yellow troosers are louder than a pensioner’s telly!”(it’s on till Sunday, January 4!).

I’m off to see The Florians’ KING’S JEWELS – will let you know!

And for the rest of the month? Time to think about what has been, maybe a few events to plan while counting down for – I won’t say it. No, I will … CHRISTMAS!!!
